Ben Maunder – Managing Director | 2016 Queensland Branch Councillor, Design Institute of Australia
Raised in South West Queensland on a cattle property, Ben has retained a strong set of country values whilst building his career in the city. Early on Ben learnt that to succeed, you need determination, a thirst for hard work and a strong sense of community. By working for the family pastoral company, he also came to understand the ingenuity used to fix situations where you may not have the necessary tools or time. It’s these life lessons that Ben has used to succeed. He has transformed Driven from a one-man-band into a team of prolific and talented brand strategists and designers. Ben is a professional member of the Australian Graphic Design Association, Design Institute of Australia and the Brisbane Art Directors and Design Club.
Renee Maunder – Client Services Director
As Driven's Client Services Director, Renee understands what is required to deliver exceptional integrated branding campaigns. With a background in print, advertising and design, Renee has over 17 years experience spanning a range of industries, from the arts to highest levels of Government. Renee’s strength lies in her diversity. Having held a variety of key roles including Pre-press Manager, Designer, Studio Manager and Account Director, Renee’s real passion is establishing and maintaining client relationships. Her unique skill set enables her to work seamlessly for the client. With her high level of process and production knowledge, she understands what is required to deliver exceptional results across any design project.
Lisa Herse – Creative Director
With over 13 years experience working as a designer in Australia and the UK, Lisa has a solid understanding of communication design. In this time she has helped clients interact with their customers, challenge the way people think about brands and help develop new relationships with emerging markets. In the UK, Lisa has worked on design briefs for Nissan, T-Mobile, Guinness, Royal Mail and Unilever. Most recently she was part of a team working on the roll out of Unilever’s brand refresh and writing their brand guidelines for international adherence. Here in Australia, Lisa has worked on campaigns for Queensland Tourism, Queensland Rail, Ergon Energy, Bank of Queensland, Telstra Countrywide and FKP. Lisa’s passion for branding was awarded a BAD for her logo design of the FKP development ‘Artise’. In 2006 Lisa was part of a 3 piece team that represented the UK in the under 30’s ‘Young Lions’ creative competition held in Cannes. Lisa is passionate about considered, well thought- out design.
Rachel Spearritt – Brand Strategist / Art Direction
Rachel is a versatile creative with exceptionally strong conceptual and strategic abilities, business sense and creative intuition. With 15+ years of industry experience, Rachel has worked in London and Brisbane in magazine and newspaper publishing, design, advertising, and photography, before finding a natural affinity with branding. Her previous long term role as Senior Designer at a leading specialist branding studio solidified her passion for finding the best client solutions and honed her depth of skills across brand strategy, marketing and digital and print communications. With additional strengths in photography, project management, creative direction and copywriting, her ability to envisage new pathways and potentials for clients, and to translate these into a complete design solution, is the complete branding package. She has created many enduring creative and business outcomes for a diverse range of clients and has extensive experience in the educational, bespoke professional and health services sectors.
Jordan Neenan – Head of Digital
Jordan is an experienced front end developer who has always been fascinated by all aspects of technology and digital design. He has a good grounding in a broad range of web technologies, usability principles and design methodologies. His skills range from HTML5, JQuery, Wordpress, CSS, PHP, responsive design and Bootstrap to responsive eDMs, server management and game development. Jordan has a decade’s worth of commercial experience and has worked with companies such as Pepsi, Tropicana, Aptamil, Jack Daniels and the NHS. He has worked on a broad range of sites throughout his career, which allows him to accurately assess client needs and develop appropriate solutions.
